20% is dang near perfect with both hard and soft tinted windows.

Most of the time it's because people use amonia based cleaning products that cause tinted windows to turn purple. Even if you have high quality film the amonia will get you every time...

x2 on this... here in GA its 30% i think for the darkest... buddy of mine was running 15% and the cop made him remove it on site in lieu of impounding the vehicle.

oh yeah... plus a 100 dollar fine that stuck even though the tint was removed.
