Window tinting colors?
Researching window tint, I see that it comes in different colors, like gray, charcoal, bronze, titanium, etc...
I am trying to match the deep tint in the rear, & obviously some of these colors are innapropriate, but which is the best match?
Has anybody done their own tint on their JK?
I've never tinted windows before... I do all my own wrenching and am good with my hands, but should I be tackling this myself? There isn't a tint shop close by but if it's really a big deal I could make the trip I suppose.
Thanks for any info.

if you take your time it is easy enough....Although I would just pay 99 dollars or whatever to have it done....thats because i am lazy and hate being meticulous....shit i had a hard enough time putting my jk decals on haha
I left it to the professionals... there is so many factors that play into tinting your windows... and you wont have a warranty either.. unless you vary confident in your skills I wouldnt risk it. cracking, discoloration, pealing, bubling... sucks!
I had 30% ceramic (which is not really legal in VA) done, It's not as dark as I really want it, but the ceramic keeps things cooler in the summer (supposedly).
20% will match factory better methinks.
here's my before and after:

i agree with everyone else. definitely go with a professional. the last thing you want is for your windows to look like somebody just slapped the tint on. it will make your entire jeep look like crap. so, however far you have to drive, drive it. you'll be happy in the long run.
If you are handy something that I was looking online into was the pre-cut tint that is already cut to your windows. Most professional tinters use precut anyway and that just leaves window prep and actually slapping it onto the window.
