Yea. I did mod the antenna. It could be a drawback for some. I like the way the antenna looks now.

I too had to mod the antenna with the Mopar brackets... I removed it. I filled the hole/recess with a 'Trail Rated' badge and plan on installing an amplified internal antenna very soon. Looks much cleaner.

I didn't enjoy paying the $96 for the Mopar brackets either, but they are very stout and made of a heavy guage steel. Positioning the lights outside of your vision is a huge plus too.

check out RockRash4x4 they make a bracket set exactly like you want. mounts the lights just like the mopar ones and runs $40. i'm very happy with mine. here is my thread about it https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-show-tell-33/new-windshield-brackets-lights-53610/

i did the antenna mod, but i plan to get an 8" shorty antenna in my next ordering phase. it looks much cleaner IMHO

$100 for the Mopar? That is a little expensive....I had a member on here send me them for "free", I just fabbed him up a little spacer for the new brackets he bought. Guess I scored. Now I just need to get some lights.

I have the Rock Rash brackets also and I really like them. I was not real happy with the coating that was on them (was already flaking off just from shipping)but I just bead blasted them and sprayed with bedliner.

Actually the Corona Ball does do something.

Thanks for all your info

Finally, I bought the Rugged Ridge Windshield Light Mounting Brackets from Quadratec.
Including the shipping and custom fees, it's 40% less than Mopar at my local dealer.
Now, I'm looking for KC lights...
