Default Windshield off, how to cover hole?

I took the windshield all the way off of my 09 to make it more useful for hunting (along with the roof, doors etc.) It is clear that they didn't really intend for this to be taken off or even put down because it leaves a big gap between the hood and the dashboard top that exposes the electronics behind the dash to the elements. Anyone have a good solution to cover it up? I could probably fabricate a piece but it is a funky compound curve so I may rely on permanent duct tape

i've heard of people using the black foam insulation used on smaller plumbing pipes. you can get it at home depot or lowe's or any similar store. just get a piece, cut it to length, and cram that bad boy in there. and you should DEFINITELY post a pic of ur jeep all stripped down like that. i've seen em with the windshield down, but i've always wanted to see a JK with the windshield off

why are u so concerned about electronics being exposed to the elements if u took the windshield completely off, the doors off, and the top off. seems pretty freakin moronic to me

i dont think its moronic to take everything off, but if u have evrything off, then u obviously are not that damn concerned with the elements, thats my f(&^%# point

nope i dont think its harsh, if the moroon takes the top, doors, and windshield off, then he should expect that some items will not be protected.
