Winterizing My JK
My 2010 JK will be experiencing its first Northern BC winter. With the winter starting very soon up here and expected temperatures of -40 Celsius, I am wondering if anyone has experiences these temperatures in their JK and how did it perform and what did you do to prepare your Jeep for the weather.
Any suggestions, performance data etc?

Probably most important is to make sure your tire pressure is up. Cold pressure should be higher than in the summer months because you don't want to float over snow, you want to cut through it and get to the harder packed snow where there is better traction.
Make sure you have adequate anti-freeze protection.
Check your battery. Make sure it's of to snuff as cranking your engine in extreme cold is going to take some juice. Clean the terminals and make sure they are free of corrosion and tight.
Winter wiper blades. Nothing sucks more than needing to deal with clogged up wiper blades.
De-icing washer fluid. Make sure you aren't going into winter with washer fluid that's going to freeze up and doesn't have a chance at thawing with the under hood temperatures.
The rest of the stuff I do really has more to do with what I'm going to need if I get stuck somewhere.
