Default wires to rear dif

I let the rear drop out to far when working on the suspension and the two wire going in the top of the diff. pulled out of the connector. Does anyone know if it matters what wire goes where. It's not the locker wires it must be ESP wires but i dont have any dash lights lights on.Thanks

You have a Rubi so it may be your locker's wire connector loom

I'm not sure, try looking on the web for a wiring diagram.

There are 2 connectors on the diffs for the lockers. The one that is on the top is for activating the locker. It should not matter which way you connect them since it's a DC magnetic coil that activates them. The bottom connector is for the locker status. This is a simple dry contact switch and polarity does not matter here either.

If you are worried about it I do have a spare chassis harness in the shop. I'll get it in a little while and take a picture of how the wires are supposed to go into the plugs.

So if there are two connectors that operate the rear locker then this image may explain why my rear locker stopped working ???
