Default Wobble after Tera Flex install

I installed a Tera Flex Steering Stabilizer yesterday. Simple install. Now I have the death wobble. Doesn't make any sense that just replacing the Steering Stabilizer would cause this issue.

2010 2 Door Rubicon with 46,000 miles.....

Any suggestions?

Thanks.....

Did you install a steering stabilizer relocation bracket and have to remove the axle side track bar bolt to install it?

No! The instructions don't have you install any extra hardware. You loosen the pinch clam on the tie rod and rotate it down. That's the only thing you do.

A new SS can't cause DW because a tight front suspension can run with out a steering stabilizer.

I readjusted the pinch bracket on the tie rod mount and haven't had an issue now.

Death Wobble has shown back up. Took my JK to a Jeep Dealership in Dallas for a recall and had them work on the Death Wobble. Service guy calls me back and says after inspection its my (as he calls them) Knobby tires causing the death wobble issue. I had a good laugh at this. I'm running BFG AT tires. 285/70/17. My Rubicon came stock with MT tires but he called the AT tires knobby.

Have you had your balljoints checked for play?

Did they say how much play they had? Keep in mind that Jeep is allowing for a ton of play in these before they say they are bad. Have you changed anything else on your JK lately?
