Default would this work?

mixing teraflex 2.5'' BB (spacers/bumpstops only) with OME shocks (not LT)

not cost effective, but would this work?

anyone tried this combo?

Call David @ Northridge, he's a vendor for both brands. He should be able to tell you.

granted I'm still kind of new.

I wouldn't think it'd be the best idea. Generaly OME designs their shocks to work with their coils. Their stiffness etc. Respectively Terraflex would do the same. If you run a coil spacer with new shocks the new shocks are not designed to work with the stock coils.

The other issue you run into is more suspension travel with the new shocks. You may drop a spring out under full flex, or you'll compress the spring to solid state because the bump stop is now shorter because of the spacer. Compressing the spring to solid will most likely ruin the stock spring. There was a thread about compressing a spring to solid state.

I would wait and do either an all OME or all terraflex setup personally.

Or if you are trying to get a little lift now, do a spacer lift, and do springs/shocks in the future

Hope this helps. Good luck

You can use any shocks you want if they are the right length.

The OME shocks are manufactured by someone else anyway.

BTW, you make anything work, it just depends for how long.

Default Rough Country Kit...

I got the Rough Country kit and it comes with a shock extension bracket, it allows you to use the stock shocks. Worked great.

Yeah, I'm planning on doing this too. I'm just wait a while for my factory ones to wear out a little.
