i keep reading about hydrolocking and blah blah blah,

i dont get it cant you have the same factory box cover on an aftermarket intake??

im sure its not that hard to weld a box together and then seal it, connected to a snorkel?

is this possible?

The factory lid wont fit any CAI system. The intakes are opened up for a reason. If your going to seal the aftermarket one, then why bother to replace the factory one.

the CAI just makes the jk sounds so knarly tho
