I love the simple 5 spoke black but i hate the star in the center...for those of you
that own this wheel i know you can leave the centercap off but is there anyway
of popping the star off and putting the cap back on?? or even placing a different
xd centercap inplace of the rockstar ones?

A few years back I had some wheel on my Grand. The wheels where chrome but the center cap was a plastic chrome that chipped up. The manager at discount tire was able to get me new center caps that fit the wheels. And luckily for me he was able to get some that had the jeep logo on them. So I would call some tire shops and see what you can find. Maybe eBay.

I have the same issue with the KMC Monsters. I really don't like the plastic caps either. I just rattle-canned the centers and called it a day for now. Interested to see if anyone has another option. Here is mine with the caps:

You can leave the center cap off if you want.......it ok....

I really like these rims as well and can only say, they don't look quite that good without the chrom star. Is it a bit "bling" YES, but they are still attention grabbers.

I am torn on picking up a set soon. Just have to plan the lift before hand.
