Default XRC 10 winch not working

Help !!!

I attempted to install my brand new Smittybilt XRC10 winch tonight....

I have no power to it. The manual lever does not work. When the remote is plugged in, nothing works and the in/out lights do not even light up. I am able to free spool the line out.

The install instructions I thought were pretty hard to mess up...and I have done the following things..

1. Rechecked all wiring to make sure it is in the proper place (it is all color coded and labled)
2. Rechecked battery terminals for tightness and making sure + to + and so on.
3. All other accessories mounted to the battery are working fine.
4. The main ground is direct to the battery.

Below are pics of the instructions and the wiring on the back of the winch all hooked up.

HELP

Not that its your responsibility but i would check the connections inside the solenoid (control box). I just finished wiring my xrc8 earlier today, same schematic and works fine.

Does your remote "snap in" or just kinda "sit" in the control box. Mine just sits in there, No "click in."

You push in and twist to install the remote. Mine is tight going in and locks after twisted.

yes you push in and make a slight turn clockwise. you then need to hit the little metal button to remove. if you can pull the remote plug out without pressing that button then it is not in correctly. Hope that helps
