Sorry one more question...

Does year or model matter? Meaning is the armor different for a unlimited vs my 2dr? And his jeep was a 07, mine is a 12

Pretty sure it's just the 2dr vs 4dr that matters.

So I picked up the set- 300$ out the door. I could only withdraw 300$ from ATM and he didn't want to do swap tomorrow so I really made out. 300 bucks and the factory fender liners he already trimmed.

Now I just have to spend a weekend putting it on haha

Awesome! I was pumped when I saw them on craigslist but changed my mind haha. I'm glad someone picked those up because that deal was pretty damn good. Good luck with the install!!

Awesome deal! Once you cut for the front, you are commits at that point. No going back with that set! The only reason I haven't done it yet. As for fitment, the fronts will fit 2 or 4 door. The rear is 2 door or 4 door specific. Hopefully you bought the rear for your rig. It not, sell them, buy the proper rear set. They will fit 07-14.

Yep! He had a 2-dr as well so it worked out. He took it off and bondo-ed old holes and painted haha.

Hahaha rivet nuts/ a la nutserts or something. No- gonna pick up those and a rivet nut gun . Also just ordered a bunch of por-15. This stuff is legendary. Going to coat all unexposed parts in it. It bonds to metal and prevents rust as well as stops any existing rust. There was small amount of surface rust on inside of fenders, which I expected. The por-15 will zap that out. Then hopefully in a week or two I can install.
