Default Xterrians - Your thoughts

Really like these tires but want to know how the guys using them like them. how are they on the street, sand, snow, etc. Have to buy a new set this week and am in a total brain lock on tire selection. Really looking for a great MT/AT hybrid but there doesn't seem to be that many out there in a 37. I like the FCII's also.

You guys think this Jeep is running 37's or 40's? I'm thinking 37's but can't tell from this angle..

I don't know much about them. But I don't like the fact they are directional. Makes it impossible to rotate in the spare without dismounting tires.

Great point, never thought about that as I want to include the spare in the rotation cycle..

The Xterrains come in a 40x13.5x17 as well as the 37's.. What size did you run the Extreme At's? Looking at that tire as well as the FCII's.. Between these 3 really as the Grabbers don't come in a 37, or can't find somebody that has the race tires for sale..

OK...cool..I was just looking on Q-Tech site and they didnt sell the 40...I ran the 33 AT...really liked them...they were loud...but that didnt bother me..They were an E rated tire...so they were kida heavy..but durable..

I had 35s on my TJ. Great on the rd.... Sucked in the dirt...mud.... and snow.... I think there made for Moab and rocks.. Really gripping on the rocks I guess. Not to many rock crawlers in the north east.

Good to know.. Like you said, no real place to pock crawl up here so a tire that excels in the rocks and mud is not something that I need, but I'd still like a real aggressive looking tire and I'm not sure if the FC2 is that.. Been hearing great things about the Trail Grapplers since they came out and they just introduced a 37
