The closest thing i found were these adapter mounting
brackets for yakima cross bars that fit on the kargo master congo cage.
I know it only says 4dr but i'm sure they'll fit the 2dr-you should call kargo master to find out.

Ive got the kargo master (http://www.quadratec.com/products/12138_005.htm)

myself for my 09 2dr X and i can tell you if you get the
congo cage, you might as well get the kargo master cross bars instead.

hope this helps!!

It a 4 door but it should work on the 2 door. I used Thule rack and gutter mounts and placed the Yakima box for my families skis and snowboards.

I don't think the traditional gutter mount is going to work on a 2-door. The removable Freedom top panels aren't strong enough to sustain the forces they will see with a load up top...

Yakima offers brackets that can be permanently mounted to the which will allow you to use rain gutter towers... I think the towers you want are the 1A. Check this link for the mounting brackets. Remove the "x" at the beginning to get to the website.

This is the option I've been considering. I'm not sure it will work on the 2-door. The top must have a minimum 42" length to mount the shorter version. Again, remove the "x" at the beginning and paste into a new browser page for the information.

Just to really confuse matters, I've been kicking options around, as well. I haven't been able to decide between the Yakima on the hardtop with one of the multi-purpose options available at Quadratec.com for a few dollars more. Personally, I like this one from Warrior Products b/c it's functional with both tops. I'm a 4-seasson whitewater kayaker and need the flexibility.

Best of luck with the decision process.

Exactly. The Freedom Top just isn't designed to take much weight. I could see this working for skis or something really light. But the top is no structural and cannot support a heavy load.

Better to get a rack that mounts to the body or frame.
