Ok thanks for the foot work...

I had my finder on the wrong spot, I was holding it on the face of the dif...

I looked at it on the bottom of the C and it is 5.5 deg....I aparently thought it was the pinion that needed to be set...

Now I feel a little better..Mabey its just that my axle is not centered? I dont hear much for DW for that but could be?

Thanks again...

If you have a dropped frame bracket on the front , it could be flexing and or stressing the stock mount. Is it a re-enforced welded on one or just bolted. Could be a definate cause of deathwobble if it's loose or flexing and will rip off if it's not re-enforced.

I have a question, Being where Im at, I need to have a welder come.

Iam going to have him reweld the axle bracket and then add a couple gussets.

On the frame side, I have a bolted drop bracket and want to know your thoughts on welding it permanantly (leaving the bolts in) to the stock frame mount and than reinforce the stock frame mount with gussets as well.

Iam ordering my adj TB today and hoping this all will fix my DW. Thanks WOL for all the great info you have givin folkes. I'll keep it posted on the results.

Is Northridge quick on shipping?

if your welder is able to, i would ask if he could weld on a brace that attaches to the drop bracket and the opposite side of the frame rails. this is what teraflex's kit does and it seems to be a very good idea. from what i have seen, even a drop bracket at the frame can cause deflection and eventually cause the factory mount to fatigue. if you brace it, you can be sure there will be no movement there.

for things like a JKS track bar, yes, they always have them instock and typically ship same day.

Ok, an update...

I wish I had pics but not here yet.

I got the mounts welded good too!

I welded the frame drop to the factory mount! I dont care If I need to change it later. (only a torch will do this). I also reinforced the frame mount with 1/4" plates on both sides from the frame down.

Then, The axle side was reinforced with 1/4" gussets and welded solid!

Ok, I did not expect to not have DW. This is not the cure but a prevention from ripping the mount off the axel doing 60mph! It is to keep it from breaking till I find the problem.

I did notice alot better handling on the bumps! A lot smoother, but, its still there, just not as strong and I can shut it down much quicker.

I have a little piece of mind. And if you are listening, If you just purchased your Jeep, lift or not, Get those brackets reinforced! Enough said.

Now I wait on my TB. I need to get my axel centered and see what that does. After that, if it is still there, I will start to play with alignment numbers. and so forth....

I have not replaced my SS! I know, I run the risk of it locking up but this has to be solved before I put my new SS on for bump steer. I could take it off completely, WOL has it right.

Well thats where Im at....

keep an eye on those axle seals now. U had a feller weld on your axle housing and it got heated up. them seals might b damaged from the heat. then again u could always just go ahead and swap em out.
