Just got off the phone with 4 wheel parts to price an install and I asked about a carrier since I have an open d30 with 3.21s they told me if I go with g2 gears from them they are specially sized so I wont need a new carrier. Does this sound accurate? Everything Ive read seems like I need a carrier when changing out my 3.21s.

 

they are thick cut and yes you will not need the new carrier

 

Not trying to argue but why is there two different part numbers for trutracs for the front. One is for 3.54 and down and the other is for 3.73 and up? I would have thought that if this was true they would only need one part for the front just like the rear.
