Default YILES! First death wobble.

Been driving the same highway with same bumps for almost a year. Hit a small bump where highway meets overpass pavement and BANG! DEATH WOBBLE. had to pull over to shoulder and come top stop to end it.

What changed? Last night I removed a 3/4 inch Daystar spacer and factory swaybar links from front and replaced with Spacers and longer links from TF leveling kit. Must be issue with longer links. If it happens again the factory links are going back on!

no, the links will not cause DW. more than likely, when you removed your spacers, you either did not tighten your track bar bolts to 125-130 ft lbs of torque with the weight of your jeep on the ground - or, if you didn't remove one end of your track bar when you were doing this, one or both of your bolts came loose.

I didn't touch track bar bolts and never have. I removed links and shocks only as per directions.

Think I found my issue ...

When I did the TF kit I also swapped my KM's to SRA's at the same time. I found that I had never torqued down the lug nuts on front driver side after I dropped it off the jack .... Lug nuts were all pretty loose ....
