Default Your opinion on Toyo Open Country MT or Nitto Trail Grappler

I'm running BFG -KM2's 35-12.50-17 that I'm going to replace. As these tires have wore down they have become quite loud. I'd like your opinion on the Toyo Open Country or Nitto Trail Grapplers. How are they on and off road. Are they loud?? Also if anyone has ran any Cooper STT what are your opinion of these tires .. Thanks for your time and replies..

I have Trail Grappler's and they are great. Better ride than the factory BFG's and better off road for what I do.

I've run the Coopers and the Nitto's. Coopers on a work truck 285-70-17. And the Nitto's on my Jeep 35-12.50-17. Both are great. However, I prefer the Nitto's for looks and quietness. Off-road they are pretty even I think. I ran the BFG's once on my work truck and absolutely hated them. Plus my 35" Nitto's needed less balancing weights than my wives car did.

I have 35x12.50r17 trail grapplers. They are very quiet on the road, ride very nice and are amazing offroad. The sidewalls are bullet proof and traction is awesome! I love them and can't wait to get them in 37".

They're pretty much the same tire and can't go wrong either way. I'd buy whichever you can find the better deal on.

Exactly. Both are manufacturered by the same company and offer almost identical performance.

I have 2 buddys running both of these tires. One says they are way to heavy and stiff. But they seem to hold up and perform great. a 37" MTRk is still lighter than a 35" trail grappler.

I have the Toyo MT's. I heard the rubber compound is a little longer lasting than the Nittos. Both are bad ass! I love mine in 37's.
