Default Yukon Zip Lockers?

I am fixin' to re-gear my 2011 JK to 4.88's. Goin' with Yukon gears, and Zip lockers so far. What's the word on Zip Locker's? Reading up on them, they seem pretty awesome to me but want input from anyone willing....

Not a big fan of them. There basically a true track. Good for light to light medium wheeling. Just my opinion

The zip locker is actually nothing like a true track. It was designed to compete with the ARB and is very similar. it works just like the ARB using air to lock it. Every thing I have seen shows that the ARB is still stronger but it is also $400 more expensive. I think the zip locker would work Great in a jeep up to 37inch tires with a stock motor. If you plan on going with 40s or a super charger/ hemi It might be worth the extra coin to go with the ARB for the extra strength. I am running yukons grizzly lockers and I am happy with them however they are not the best choice for a daily driver.

My Jeep is a daily driver, so I am looking for the best thing for it but durable. So, I am still stuck on what to do!

How do you plan on using your jeep? Rocks, mud, sand?

How big will your jeep grow? Assuming its a daily driver and you don't plan on running 40s I'd defiantly do the Yukon zip locker I think it is the best bang for the buck and get you the road manners you will want. You wont even know its there on the road. I have even considered swapping out one of my grizzlys for a zip. It has the best warranty I have ever seen with any locker.

I may go with 35's, but I will be doing moderate rock, muddin', and sand since I am down in the south...lol. I have 33's now. I use it to go to work and run around town. But, I want it good enough to take tyhe kids and have some fun and drive it back.

I think the zip would be a great choice. It would be the locker I would use if that were my plan
