Default any wheeling or beach driving around the Cape?

heading up to the cape from NY next week and figured I'd see if there's any fun to be had with the Jeep up that way. If anyone has any pointers they'd be greatly appreciated!

I'm from the Cape and as for wheeling, there is less than nothing! The few spots we had were gated up. The national seashore and a handful of other beaches do allow driving, 5-10mph max on them provided you have a permit and the correct equipment. Every beach requires a different permit at a minimum cost of $150 bucks. You will also need a shovel, tow strap and board. Check the link below for some good info. You will need to air down to 18 psi and want to use 4-low. If you've never driving on the beach before you can find yourself stuck pretty quick depending on how the sand is doing with the tides. We don't have a lot of beach left when the high tides come up.

Cool thanks. From Long Island so I can drive on the beach here. Still would've been nice if they offered a day pass or something.

It's Taxachusetts. It's only a matter of time before they add a surcharge for every cupholder.
