???????? I have no clue, when I'm getting mine. My salesman still has not called me back!

 

I had originally ordered a JK on 11-11-06. I was getting a Rescue Green Unlimited Rubi with dual tops and 6 speed standard trany, slate gray interior, and power convenience group and a 6-disk CD changer. And the last time I spoke to the dealer, before I changed my mind and went with the '06 that I was originally looking at, he said that my JK wasn't going to get built untill sometime in March so I most likely wouldn't see it untill sometime in April.

You're probably in that same boat.

And just for the record...Gengras was the first dealership I went to. The Rubi I described above is what I wanted and at the time. I knew exactly what I wanted, and I really had my heart set on it. But for some reason the salesman at Gengras kept trying to get me to change my mind and take a Sahara or an X. I didn't like that. I felt that he wasn't listening to me. He asked me if I felt like he was putting too much pressure on me. I said "Nope" then I walked out the door and I bought my Jeep from Bolles Motors in Ellington instead.

 

When did you order it ? Did you check your status ?

 

I ordered it on 11/6/06. My salesman at Gengras, said that it would be in, the first half of Jan! Lie #1 Then it was the end of Jan! Lie #2 Then , sometime in Feb! Lie #3. The last time I called DC, my status was D1. I quess I'll have it for fishing season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way tic-tock 3 to go

 

That should have been here by now !! call DC again , and then the dealer !!

 

I was advised, by one of the people that you talk to when you call to get a status, that Tuesday, is the day to call. It is updated once a week on Monday, so Tuesday, would be the best day.:confused:

 

When I was going through my whole ordeal with DCX and my stealership, I asked the DCX customer service rep straight out if that was true - she told me that they updated things almost every day, and that there was no need to wait a whole week to check back in. EVERY ONE of the DCX customer service ladies I spoke with was very pleasant, and they all encouraged me to call back in and check whenever I wanted... so don't feel that you're bothering them, and don't swallow that garbage about once-a-week updates... Go find your Jeep bro! Good luck!
