Best I can suggest is that construction sites without any signage indicating that they're not public are great for mud, especially in the rainy weather we're having (just be responsible and don't create big ruts, and try to avoid any areas that were obviously graded or flattened for foundations, etc. - in other words, don't be destructive!)

As for us meeting up on the 18th or the 25th...Either of those two dates are good for me.
I would think that around 2:00 would be a good time so we avoid the lunch rush.

z-man, what dealership did you order from? I only waited 3 weeks for mine..they told me i was EXTREMELY lucky! wait until they tell you it's on the rail care and will be on on a certain day and you call..and they say "not yet" don't get fustrated..it is worth the wait!!!! It's not the dealership..its is actually the drivers..they are union and take whatever cars they feel like that day( thats what i was told anyways )I was told tha the hard tops in the Sahara's were not being produced until september. Your Rubi will be here before ya know it! let us know !

Can't believe no one wanted to come! Next time some one please! Theres a few more trials I didn't touch cause I thought I may sink in the mud but if I had some one to help pull me out that would be awesome.

And the poser shot

I found the power lines while going down a trail. Had no clue they were there and the cl&p trail made for a great backdrop. Sorry for the quallity all I had was my cell phone.

Welcome JK Sahara 07... I see a lot more JKs on the road now... they're ALMOST becoming "common" (and I'm sure we'll see a lot more).

If any of you see a Jeep Green Sahara COVERED in reddish-brown mud and flying an orange trail flag from the spare tire carrier, wave: that's me! I got back from an AWESOME trip to Chicago which included a stop at The Badlands in Indiana, and flew their flag all the way home... and I'm going to keep flying it for awhile (my wife said "it belongs on the Jeep, and fits"). I also haven't washed off my Jeep since, so I'm still very mud-covered (including everything under the hood ).

At some point in the next week, I'll write about the wheeling and post some pics - if you're ever out towards Indiana, I would highly recommend spending some time at The Badlands... well worth the time!
