I still haven't had a chance to check out East Hampton, and not sure when I'll be back in that area. On another note, I'm hoping to wheel up in Tolland MA or in Canton in early- or mid-November. No specifics yet, but (need I say it?) everyone's welcome!

 

I'm kinda like the sun on a cloudy day.....I tend to fade in and out, but I'm never really gone for too long.

There's a guy where I work that bought a Unlimited JK Sahara, with the Red Rock paint job.
I tried to tell him about the website, but he'll never show up here.
He's an old Spanish dude that never messes around with computers.
He said his daughter would have to do it. And he didn't sound like he was even intrested any way.
He said that the Jeep belongs to his wife, (even though he traded in a real nice
pick-up that he had in order to get it.)

It gave me a kinda wierd feelig when I found out someone at work had gotten one.
Because originally I was gonna buy an '07 Unlimited Rubi. It was all I could talk about for a while...I had ordered it last year,
but between the ongoing wait time, and the memory of my old man saying
"Never buy the first year of a brand new model vehicle", I changed my mind and bought my '06 Unlimited Rubi instead.
I really beat myself up going back and forth with the decision. Either way I was getting a Jeep Rubi. (It was my 40th birthday present to myself)
I'm really happy with my '06...when it came down to it, pros outweighed the cons, and getting the '06 was the wiser choice for me.
Heck I'd probably still be waiting for it if I decided to get the JK.

(As every body reads this they all say to themselves...
"Poor guy...He's still in denial, and he's trying to make himself believe he made the right choice" )

As for goin wheelin' or for gettin together for drinks, concider me in on both counts.
Just name the time and place, and I'm there.
