CT checking in
Sounds like most everyone's been too busy to hit trails... any interest for finding a time in late Jan/early Feb? I'm kinda limited due to the whole military schedule, but I'd love to get the jeep dirty on a weekend!!!
Did I just say that??

After this little snowstorm that we just got, I think any trail runs are out until we see bare ground again... say, early spring. Otherwise, I would expect there to be a lot of "stuck" Jeeps in snow and mud, which isn't really my idea of fun (the recovery, that is).
I'm definitely up for a late-Winter and/or early-Spring get together. Wonder how many people will be checking the forum by then?

HEY ALL!
CONE, I WAS ON ROUTE 9 SUNDAY NIGHT, I HAVE A 4 DOOR SILVER SAHARA NOT A RUBI...OR MAYBE IT WASN'T EVEN ME,,,BUT AN IMPOSTER....HA HA...SERIOUSLY THOUGH..I WAS ON RTE 9 SUNDAY NIGHT , GOT OFF EXIT 11 . IF IT WAS A RUBI, WASN'T ME...
Hey there folks,...like Johnny Winter sang...I'm still alive and well. I had a bit of knee surgery to clean out some stuff
that was floating around in there. I'm almost done healing.
Since winter is here I put my hard top back on.
The night before the operation, my new front bumper and winch mounting plate came in,
and was waiting for me when I got home from work!!!
I couldn't wait to mount it because I knew I would be laid up for a bit with my knee and it would drive me nuts
not being able to see how it looked on my ride, so a friend and I put it on that night.
Since I don't have a winch yet I didn't bother to mount the winch plate, but here's how my ride looks now.
Tires and a lift are next on the list.

Been spending a bit more time in the Anything and Everything area of the forum.
I've also been in the process of building a new computer from the ground up (My first time doing this)
and so far it has been working pretty darn good (Although self praise is no praise
) This is only the 2nd computer I have ever owned.
Everything I have learned about this subject came from my messing around with my first computer, and reading different stuff.
Since CompUSA is going out of business, I was able to get some fairly high-end
parts at better than average prices. (which sort of put me a bit in the hole)
You know how it can be....those evil freakin credit cards!!!!!
Till next time...stay safe
