Default Detailing Recommendation

Guys and gals,

I live in Brookline , MA and am tired of getting ripped off by the folks who detail my two vehicles (2009 Black 4dr Rubi and 2006 black BMW M6 - guess which one I drive more - the JEEP). It's not the guys who do the work. They're great. It's the owners of the two companies who I switch between downtown where I work.

I'd do it myself (clay bar, etc.), but with the new wife, two new step kids, work and house renovations, I just can't find the time on the weekends.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a detailer who's not too far away (anything within I495 or that will come to my house - I'll supply the materials in that case) and that will do a top flight job (I'm extremely picky).

Thanks!

none that I've found. Everyone that I've used has left wax on the plastic when done or just didn't use a quality wax.

Can't help you, but I have owned two black Jeeps in the past, so I know how annoying swirl marks can be. The shops up here run the m/v's through the ringer, spray some auto detailer, and hit the interior with vinyl wipes...then charge you $125.00.

Too true. Fewer and fewer people seem to take pride in their work. Somebody mentioned to me that Muzi Ford off 128 in Needham has a good detail shop. Has anybody out there used them??

yeah I know the place. Its not muzzy but down the street (gould st?) behind it next to Channel 5. I think its called wash world I have heard good things about it. its a drive through and they also have a hand wash that they do. I'm assuming they have detailing service. Haven't had a chance to try them out b/c I end up doing it myself.
