want to shoot for Saturday the 25th? ill go Sunday too if that would work better, but if we could go on the 25th that would allow me to drive home sat night to clean my rig and dare i say fix anything if it needs it Sunday, and be able to head back Sunday night rather than wheel Sunday drive home to take care of my rig and then drive back to Hartford the same night.

im down for either but would prefer sat.

As it stands now, I'm up for any of those weekends, I think.

That may change, as the guy I intern for REALLY seems to like my work, and is looking for any way to keep me there, despite budget constraints.

So, I'll play it by ear, whatever weekend you guys pick, I'll try to make!

What's going on guys. I've been working alot and haven't been around much. I found a kick ass trail about 15 minutes, or less from Hartford. There's other trails there too that we didn't explore yet. Pin stripping is a definate. The trail was tight and there are some rocks that can't be avoided, so stock jeeps might have a problem. There's also a nice mud hole that's as deep as tolland was in the spring when we went. I'm thinking of going back in a couple of weeks and explore some more if any one might be interested.

I would like to get out on a trail before winter - are any of these trails/places that you are referring to good for stock Rubicons? I do have Sliders, but no lift and stock Rubicon tires.

Would be into the 25th as the 26th is a home Patriots game and will be there. The Rubi should be here before the 25th and will have given us a chance to put some miles on before heading into the woods. The trails would need to be tame enough for a stock Rubicon Unlimited and we would be in!!

I heard that tolland could be closing as early as next summer, this is not a definate but thats what i heard down the grape vine. The town is saying it no longer has the resources to maintain the trails so there going to be closing them.
Just wondering what the state is doing with all of the money its getting for atv registration considering thats a big hot spot for atvers. But ill be down to go anyone of those weekends after this one of course.

I'm new to 4wheeling and also have a fairly stock JK Unlimited that I would like to take offroad before any suspension/wheel mods to truely see the differences. However I would like to attempt fairly mild trails for my first time out. This is my daily driver. Any of the suggested areas good for this? I am working the weekend of the 25th so that would be out for me. Thanks.

Hey everyone - I haven't been around the site much, but I have to change my vote - I won't be able to go until sometime in mid-November.

Hope you're all doing well.
