Tom, do you think there is an upper limit to how big someone can go with the tires and still keep the basic aspects of a Jeep that's driveable without becoming a sort of rock buggy? Are you approaching the maximum or do you think that you could keep tweaking and go bigger? Just curious.

I think I'm just about there any bigger and your going to run into turning problems as it is I may have to cut my front mount and grill for clearance going to flex it out this weekend and see what needs to go. The Back is pretty straight forward it's just a matter of how far you push the tires out so they don't hit the frame/body when flexed out.There a guy who's running running rockwell's and 44's on a 2dr that's pretty sick.This may be the route I go if I get tired of this setup. As I have my eye on some 47's that would do the trick for sure or just leave it be and buy a real buggy,

Jeep ran well with the 40's for sure my problem is I keep looking for harder stuff to crawl...I have some real big stuff out on my trail that I have not tried yet...

have you considered driving up the face of Mount Rushmore? pretty big rocks there....

Well Beast Beastly stopped by in his highly modified 2dr to check out the mostly stock 4dr new tires ....I can't really see much difference.
