I am going back to Killington to. I am thinking of Glades and Bullwinkle with No Name as a fall back. It all depends on the weather.

NO NAME (Rating 6)

THE GLADES (Rating 6-7)

BULLWINKLE’S REVENGE (Rating 7-8)

We are also signed up for Killington again this year. This past year we did "No Name" and "Glades". If its wet next year then we'll redo "No Name", as we were told by the guides that we made it through areas that normally have to be winched through. This is also the trail that on Friday our trail gunner during a hill climb bounced his left front tire off a tree and sent his drive shaft through his transfer case... Needless to say.. he trailered his Jeep to return to New York.

How was Glades compared to No Name in terms of difficulty / fun? We did some of Timberjack after finishing No Name early on Saturday last year, which was a direct result of there not being a lot of rain leading up to the event.

We actually found Glades to be much easier than "No Name". It seemed to be more technical driving with tight corners than difficult obstacles. We actually finished Glades early and hit a trail that they had just cut fresh for last year. It wasn't on the plans to be run - but we did it anyways. The only problem was that the trail had been cut to allow 2 door Jeeps and not 4 door... had a few really tight areas!

Wow if you found Glades easier than NoName maybe we will skip it also and try Bulwinkles Revenge. We found No Name to be a lot of fun but wanted something a little more challenging. We did Vertigo the first day found it pretty boring with the rubicon. It was fun the year before with the stock TJ. HaHa

I would love to go but they always fill up fast. They need to open it up to more Jeeps.
