Default Mad props to TexsDream77

Dude, I was headed to my girlfriends and was on on Rt 1 in North Attleboro this morning. It was just about 10:15 am and I was coming up on the on-ramp to 295 south when I saw this black JK coming off the ramp from 295 North. Right away I knew it was you bro. I gotta tell ya, your pics do your rig no justice at all! That was the absolute best looking JK that I have seen in person yet! I was so awestruck, I didn't even think to blow my horn and wave. You wouldn't have even noticed me. I was in the little black civic that drove right past you as you came off the ramp.

I see rigs like that and wish to god I had one.

2 thumbs up Tex. That is one AWESOME rig!

I'm assuming with the rack that you can't take the hard top off, correct? I hope you can at least get the T-Tops off.

I got to my girlfriends house in North Smithfield and that's all I could talk about.

Thank you. I do love my Jeep. And no, I don't have 15k or 10k or even 5k into it after purchase. I wheeled with people that have 45K + into thiers and I go everywhere they go with half the investment. I have plans to spend a bit more...but, will do as funds are available and not before the lesser parts are broken.

Yes I can take off the roof rack. And the hard top. With my bars on for the kayaks it makes removing the hard top easier. 10 bolts and the top comes right off. My roof wiring runs up the back right corner of the exterior of the jeep. With a plug to unplug the rack lights at the bumper.

I take the freedom panels off a lot. The hard top not so much. I have a 4 year old and a baby. And topless is not an option on the highway with them for now. We usually take it off at the campground in NH. Now that I think about it... I've never had the rear top off here at home.

Haven't seen it with the bigger tires... But it was still a very nice ride with the 35's....

Drove behind him on a trail ride this summer. I felt tiny

PS: Did you ever get the wheel spacer info you needed???

those were 33's I had before. And no. .I still need to borrow someone's wheel spacers for a test fit before I buy new wheels. I can flex the truck up right here in the yard.

I can tell you Tex's jeep rocks. I haven't wheeled with him since the 37's but we did have a good time cutting some metal to make them fit! On the 33's at the Western Maine Jamboree we were hanging with Rubis on 35's with no major problems.

Nice to see you made it MotorSargent. For anyone who cares... He was my fearless co-piliot/ spotter at the Jeep Jamboree in Bethel, ME last October. I tried not to run him over.... lol.. just kidding ... he saved me a lot of carnage on that trip. His Toyota makes me almost want one... "almost".

We started out with him in the Jeep and me in the Yota... now we are reversed.... lol We'll get him convereted sooner or later. His rig is almost complete. Still a lot of parts sitting on the garage floor.

The cruiser is nice but huge. If I find the right deal after the basement is paid off and the next little one is here in june I'll have another Jeep. Miss the size of the CJ.
