Shouldn't they update that when you renew it?

not necessarily. When going for a new license you just pass the eye exam then take the picture then you're done. I could probably have put 7' on my license and no one would say anything.

Okay... had to chime in my two cents now.

It only took the mentioning of Beer and short girls... love em' both for sure. The wifey is only 5'3"

She says NO lift as she's short and it will be our daily driver. Rubi unlimted on order. But hey, she's letting me get a Rubicon, drink my beer and she's damn cute!!

Guess that's how we've made it together for 14 years!!!

Been enjoying the Mass thread you all seem great and as soon the jeep arrives, will start the hunt for a great group to join also. We are campers and I hard core mtn bike. Damn, I thought access was hard enough for one of my joys in life. Once the jeep comes seems it's only gonna get harder.

Would love to hear about where you all LEGALLY trail and beer and short cute girls!!

Great looking action shots RuBob... Glad to see the trails look as dry as they do in those pics. I have been revovering from my last shoulder surgery... a rotator cuff repair, feeling better so then of course I just seperated the ac joint in that same shoulder three weeks ago during a pick up hockey game. Boys will be Boys as the wife says so haven't rode in a bit but should be ready in a few more weeks.

I love my specialized... treats me well. In that area I've ridden foxboro sf. and franklin by forge hill area off 140 by the YMCA. Also ride in the RI area as i'm kinda between the two areas of great trails. I am a NEMBA member also.

Hopefully spring will keep on springing and we can all get out and enjoy our outdoor activities. By now i'm all done with being inside the house for sure.

Thanks wayland... will do on joining the new england group.

Default curious about your canceled order...

Hey there Scott, thanks for the kind welcome...

Since i've got a Rubi on order and i've now read your sig. What the hell!?!?!

If you don't mind elaborating why did the dealer cancel your order. We are so exceited to get our jeep but with my luck I just fear something won't go smoothly.

Seeing that happen to you made me jones bad... that must have sucked.
Glad it all worked out for you in the end by getting one off the lot somewhere!

The link in my sig has all the ranting and raving I did at the time. If that doesn't explain it enough, PM me w/a phone # and I'd be glad to talk about it. It really sux, cause there are only 2 dealers near me, and you can see that I can never set foot inside this one again. I bought it from a dealer in NY, so service isn't real convenient! I've done all my oil, tires, etc at local shops, but it's at another dealer right now getting the rear axle unlocked (and the G40 brake recall). I'll let everyone know how that goes next week...

Sorry Scott,

Didn't realize your sig also had the link to your "Rant" post.

Gotta say man, if that's what you call a "RANT" for that kind of low life action, you are one mellow guy.

A little background here as I worked for Toyota and a Subaru dealer here in New England for many years before quiting due to having a baby and not wanting to be there every minute of every day and missing out on the early years of my son.

It's that kind of B.S. that made me hate going in every morning knowing that the people walking thru the door hated me and what I did as a profession before they even met me and knew how I was going to treat them.

It's word of mouth that matters most in stopping others from giving stealers like that their business and likeswise helping those to the DEALERS (yes, there are ones out there) that treat people kindly and straight.

I will do my part in making sure I tell everyone to AVOID that dealership for sure. Ironic that their name is Lawless as what they did to you even sounds illegal.

I hope your jeep gets fixed fast and correctly.

Dylan

scottcarp: I read your post with your dealership troubles - and I'm shocked! Lawless was the closest Jeep dealer to me so that's the first place I looked back in July when I decided to buy a Jeep. The dealer I spoke to was trying to get me to buy a base model x they had on the lot, but I wouldn't budge cuz I didn't care much for the color.

Of course, the dealer I went to in Mansfield wasn't very nice, either. Or rather, the person helping me was nice but his manager was a complete ass. But at the time I was having such a hard time finding the jeep I wanted with the options I wanted, and they were the only one in MA where I could get it.

But anywho. I clicked on this thread cuz it said MASS! I'm in Winchester (as much as I hate admitting it - I grew up in Woburn and the two towns are rivals). I'd love to go off-road here and there. Never been before but I'm very excited to try!
