Guessing we may need to setup a JKF run sometime soon. I am aware of the 3 or 4 legal spots in MA but no clue on the NH or other states. Most of the stuff my club runs is private property so we would not be able to get access to those.
What's going on? I've been looking for a place to do some offroading in ma. Where are these spots that are legal to go?

Most of the places are hard to find unless you've been there or can get specific gps coordinates. Most GPS don't list the locations because they are unmaintained roads

Also each road has its legal and illegal ways to go. Unless you know what path to take, you could inadvertently be going an illegal way. Just because others have created a path, doesn't mean it's legal.

That's why most people "protect" these spots and won't post locations here. It's best to jump in with an organized run with people that have been there and can show you the way.

An example of one if these trails is known as OFR. About 200 yards in, there is a difficult double ledge climb that a lot if people can't do. So they drive around it on the "go around". That go around happens to be on private property so it is illegal.

We need someone to schedule a trail run at some of these trails so new people here can learn where they are and where the legal trails at each location are. I'd love to help organize but most trails are 2 to 3 hours from where I live and I have so few weekends free due to my kids having stuff every weekend it seems.

If I can find time, I will try but hopefully someone else can offer to organize.
