Default the problems never end

well i thought i would be back in buissness this weekend, but now this morning as i was about to leave i noticed a red lake under my front end. The trans lines are are screwed and i also noticed fluid leaking from one of the bolts in the trans fluid pan. from the looks of it the drive shaft rubbed against the pan and ground it up pretty good. i also notice the front axle is shifted to the drivers side by about an inch, which isnt that big of a deal because ill be putting a new axle in this weekend but still it just adding insult to injury. iim going to try and use some hose clamps to sinch down the crimp on the hose

and if that doesnt work im going to take this POS thing to a field and set it on fire

rant over

Yeah, sorry to hear about your problems....doesn't sound fun..

I had leakage from my tranny pan after my last run due to either the driveshaft hitting it or what looks like a large rock that somehow smashed against it. Knocked the seal loose so I was getting seapage from the front bolts and corner. Was able to remove the pan and res-seal it and no leaks since then BUT.....what a pain in the a**!!

Not sure how your LOD sliders went on since you had to weld them but I had to completely remove one side (mine are bolted on) just so I could remove the skid plate. Kind of thinking that sliders that bolt directly to the frame...maybe not such a good idea!!

Good luck with your fixes...hope to hear good news from you on the next update.

front axles being replace with a factory 44 front end, ill beef it up this summer.

got the line to stop leaking for now, but for so some reason i have really bad Death wobble again. im hoping that once i get the new axle put under it everything will just go away. i kind of stoped the leak but the hose definitely needs to be replaced. im just about at 60,000 miles so its time to drop the pan and change the trans filter anyway. my skids are not sandwich between the frame rails and the sliders so i can still pop them off.

if i still have bad death wobble after i get my new axle on and an alignment done i will flip a shit.

its not all bad at least im driving it again

my axle was off center by almost an inch, i pulled the track bar and re did it, its dead on right now but i still have wobble. could it be because there are no shafts in it right now. i pulled the driver side out and put a short shaft in. i dunno if this would throw off the balance at all. its fine so long as i am under 35mph and over 45 mph, which unfortunately is the speed limit for most roads around here so im not driving all week until i head to NH on friday to pick up the parts

if you guys can head up for the afternoon that would be great, little bro is home but hes not the best of mechanics. plenty of beer and pizza will be had. just let me know
