RI Thread
Hey guys. I know I've obviously missed this event, but I was wondering if anyone could take a minute and tell me what this place is all about. Do they allow wheeling anytime or just for events? Any cost? What kind of terrain? Etc....
Also, if anyone has any suggestions of some good places for light/moderate wheeling in our RI/MA area I'd love to hear about them too!

Awesome, thanks for the info. I've been debating joining a club for a while now, I'm just not sure how much light/moderate stuff they do. The super hardcore wheeling and constantly breaking parts may not be for me.
I'm in South Shore Wheelers with Tex. we do monthly trail runs and most places have light to moderate trails/lines that less built rigs can take. All events are pretty descriptive so people know what to expect. We've had a bunch of guys join over the last year with newer Jk's that don't want to destroy their rigs so that always dictates a lot of the trails we do.
With that said, if you are willing to push your rig, having a good spotter makes all the difference. Between spotters I've had in my club vs. non club guys, I've found the club guys are better at it. Tex, for instance, has gotten me through stuff I never thought I could and he's done it while causing zero damage to my rig.
Google South Shore Wheelers and you should get our site which leads to our forum. If you do pm Tex, he's our VP so he will most likely tell you to check out the forum as well.
