Unless you join a club, there is almost nowhere to offroad legally around here. The one place I know that you can do is in Taunton, Glebe Street.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I've been debating joining a club for a while now, I'm just not sure how much light/moderate stuff they do. The super hardcore wheeling and constantly breaking parts may not be for me.

Shoot a PM to Tex's Dream. He's one guy I can think of who is in a club. Cool guy too.

I'm in South Shore Wheelers with Tex. we do monthly trail runs and most places have light to moderate trails/lines that less built rigs can take. All events are pretty descriptive so people know what to expect. We've had a bunch of guys join over the last year with newer Jk's that don't want to destroy their rigs so that always dictates a lot of the trails we do.

With that said, if you are willing to push your rig, having a good spotter makes all the difference. Between spotters I've had in my club vs. non club guys, I've found the club guys are better at it. Tex, for instance, has gotten me through stuff I never thought I could and he's done it while causing zero damage to my rig.

Google South Shore Wheelers and you should get our site which leads to our forum. If you do pm Tex, he's our VP so he will most likely tell you to check out the forum as well.

Sounds good! I think the forum moderator requires you post an introduction thread. Then you get access to more of the forum. It helps protect against spam. Or so I'm told!
