Gotta work tonight, I'm a firefighter.
But the ride into work will be fun in the JK.
And if our mechanic got our engine back in service, we are currently using a spare, I may get to do some 4wheelin tonight. Our engine is 4wd, and if we get as much snow as forecasted, it'll be in 4wd fer sure if we go out. Rear tires get chained too.

Tomorrow may "have" to take our kids sledding.
It's tough to tell sometimes who is having more fun

Everyone seeing snow stay safe.
Glad to hear guys in Mass are getting their power back

I'm just hoping this snow means nobody comes to the pharmacy tonight. I'm just getting over a cold, and I want to go snowboarding this weekend. So I dont' want to get sicker!

Good idea. It's the people who have 4wd and think that will make them stick to the road like ugly on an ape. These people blow by everyone 'cause traffic to get more screwed up in their wake. Just because a person has the means to drive faster than traffic doesn't mean they should.
N.H. bound leaving tonight non-stop express to Woodstock are my plans until xmas

Yeah, there are a lot of idiots out there .

I find the high school kids some of the scariest...

Next comes the people driving their Yukon XL or Escalades barreling down the fast lane that scare the be-jeebers out of me. Imagine one of those hit a patch of hidden ice in a storm!

My ride to work is usually 20 min.
Tis afternoon it took 2x that.
Got stucj behind someone going 15mph almost all the way.
BUT, made it in OK.

Oh a%$hole sighting...Guy was making a right to go up a hill in a grand cherokee, decided at the last minute that he wanted to go straight because people were getting stuck on the hill. So he's next to me going into oncoming traffic flipping me off Add the snow packed on the road....
I could tell he "had" to get ahead of me, so I just slowed and let him fly by.
IDIOT!

Oh yeah, gotta love people! just remember everyone, 4wd can help you GO, it does NOTHING to help you STOP. I say take it slow and steady, and try to enjoy one of nature's beauties.

Wise words. Was out this afternoon headed home when the storm was just starting. Saw 4 different accidents between just 1 exit, all people who rear ended the guy infront of them

Which department? 4wd engine... I wanna see. We have onspots on our engine now (Quinnville E-76 Lincoln, RI). Sooo nice. Still have to put the chains on the old fashioned way if the snow gets deep.
