Hey everyone, my club (South Shore Wheelers) is having its annual Toys for Tots Meet and Greet and "Trail" Ride on Sunday, December 7th. The past few years we have had anywhere between 25 and 50 rigs show up which has generated a ton of toys for families in need. We always follow up the meeting spot with a trail ride which is usually held on a couple of unmaintained roads near the area. This year, however, due to some illegal blocking of those roads, we have decided to go elsewhere for the trail ride even though most of us could probably drive over the barricade! But we want to keep the peace!

This event is open to anyone that wants to attend. All we ask is you bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. The "trail" we will be running (from what I understand) is near a state park and it is very, very stock friendly. Mostly some bumps and some deepish puddles. If it is snowing or cold, it might be a little more fun. But the main point is for anyone with a Jeep, other 4x4 vehicle or a car they don't mind driving on less than paved roads to get together, give back to those in need and have a good time.

Immediately following the trail ride is my club's monthly meet and greet which will be held at the Texas Roadhouse nearby to where we will be. Here are the details. Please feel free to ask me any questions or just show up. The more, the merrier!

We will be holding our 6th annual TOYS for TOTS "Fun Run"

There will be a trail ride near the location departing at 1 PM.

Our normal location for the "Fun Run" is illegally blockaded and we are not going to cross the barricade
even though it looks like fun getting onto the trail.

So, we are trying someplace new. Some have been, some have not.

There will be a Meet & Greet following the trail ride at one of our favorite spots nearby.
Please watch for flying peanuts!
