Default where to live

I may be getting a job as a sales rep in the golf industry. My territory will be NH and Maine. Where is the best place to live for a family with 3 small kids. Is there any places where you can ski, wakeboard, golf and get dirty in the jeep. I would love to get a place witha boat dock. Also it needs to be close to where the major golf shops are located.

2x on Bridgton ME

I built a place 1 mile from shawnee peak and made a killing but loved the area. Bridgton has a excellent school system and fryeburg is a good community. only 20 minutes from conway shopping area and 1 hour to portland ME.

Default Check out central nh

I'd choose central nh of Maine, no income tax!! no sales tax! Everything you can imagine to do, boat, fish, hunt, ski .. oh and wheel.. check out the area around Gilford, Belmont, Alton all great places to raise a family.

Default cost of living

I just sold a home in Gonic (rochester) NH that I inherited, it took almost two years. Part of the reason was the downturn in the real estate market, the other was the disparity in taxes between Maine and NH, I was told by many people that they chose homes in Maine for this reason. Good luck in your search.

Which company are you going to be a rep for? I use to work at Titleist as a R&D technician. Till slow sales and the economic slump forced them to lay off

Northwood's a nice place, tons of lakes, great school system, out in the woods, and still kind of close to the cities.
