The ocean is my hypothesis too. The truck came from a town in Mass near the ocean (according to Carfax). I am going to try it and hope for the best. I’ll soak the bolts days in advance and apply slow pressure.

Forget the exhaust unless it needs it immediately...same with cold air intake. use that same cash for pretty much ANYTHING else to start replacing on that thing man...

One of the bolts appeared potentially dangerous, but


my dad and I finished the job. We elected to use a gasket instead of the RTV sealant.

drain the oil and when you are ready use a rubber mallet to tap the pan loose when you replace it use a good pan gasket id use fel-pro with black or gray rtv on the corner if needed.
