About time I contribute...
Been visiting JK Forum too frequently for troubleshooting / ideas on upgrades for the past two years of owning mine.
Learned from performing my own work, but have a lot to learn. Hoping to give / get more and more advice.

Good for you for tackling your own labor. That really is the best way to learn! These things are pretty easy to work on, and with the wealth of information on the web, there's not much you can't conquer yourself.
I had some formidable years growing up (4th-9th grade) not too far away in Atlantic, IA couple hours to the south. Fond memories of small town life as a kid.
