Thumbs up moab

Awesome pics.
Moab is a life changing experience, even in a Hummer.
JK, that is a good looking H2.
Hopefully, I will see you on the trails in Moab.

I ran at the 2008 EJS and the following week. I ran Moab Rim, Kane Creek, Strike Ravine, and Steel Bender with a JK buddy of mine.

I don't think the majority here would appreciate a Hummer wheeling thread so I'll post some of the pics here.

These are from Moab Rim and the Z turn.

Cool pics. I like the H3 overall. Which one do you think performs better off-road (H2, H3)? At least in Moab type wheeling, as I imagine the H2 would be better with the extra power in certain conditions like sand.

On most trails in Moab, I believe my H2 will slightly outperform my H3. On steep very loose soil, (because of the weight) the H2 has a tendency to dig in, the H3 weighs quite a bit less and can get up some trails easier than the H2.

The H2 is much bigger and can be more work on trails built for Jeeps, but it is far more powerful and comfortable than the H3.

I like Jeeps, for the same reason you mentioned.

After spending the last week wheeling with a JK in Moab, I will admit that I'm working harder on many trails than he was. The size and visibility in the H2 makes it much more work to wheel the same trails.

Very cool wheeling different rigs together though.

I'm still happy with my Hummers, but I do respect the ability of the new JK's, they deserve to be called Jeeps.

The wheelbase on those Unlimited's is about perfect in my opinion for Moab.
