Default Back from the dead...

Hi all! I wanted to reach out to all and say hello. Used to be on site as NC08JK back in the day with a JK but fell off back in 2009 after selling rig. Back from the dead now though in a 2021 JLU willys sporting surprisingly the 2.0 4 liter. I was hesitant but found it to be economically matched to my needs and present opportunity to build a rig out of. Pretty excited. Looking forward to sharing the mods and getting to know you all. Feel free to reach out if in the area. Based in Lawton OK. I am a commercial driver driving OTR but when home, will be up to partaking of events are in the cards. Any mods and recommendations are welcomed.

Ty. It’s sarge green. Throwback nod to the 1941. Planning lifts, bronze wheels, bumpers, winches, lockers etc...

going to be fun.

Ty, that’s awesome. I wish I kept the JK but family needs required the trade but I missed have a rig ever since so I am excited to be back in a Jeep. Been to long. Going to spend about 10 grand in this one I assume to her it ready for some Outland adventuress and trails that I want to hit. Planning on sharing the transitions and the adventures with all. Hoping to reconnect in the community and see what roads or trails await. Congrats on the gladiator! Those are sick when done right! Little long on the wheel base for me hence why I went with JLU. A little different than before. My old pics of my JK was under my old user name NC08JK. Not sure if they are still on site. I had created a new account because I could not figure out how to retrieve the original. Ty for the contact. Happy trails!!!

You too... I don't know if you follow trail recon on youtube... but he just went through a big review of a number of lift kits for the JL.... it might be helpful when you look at building it up!

Default Trail Recon reviews

Indeed I did. That guy is awesome and I think the tereflex kit is the way I would want to go. I saw a package deal from 4WP with a 3.5 inch rubicon Express lift and pro comp 35in wheel and tire package installed for little over 3k. Not sure if that’s good or bad. I know that tereflex lift is a little pricy but you get what you pay for right?

So far I am pleasantly surprised. It is highly responsive in the pedal and no turbo lag as you would expect. So far better fuel economy and torque when compared to my 08 Jk. I am curious what it will like when fully modded. We shall see!
