Back in the saddle again
Hello all, I just traded my 04 Tahoe in on an 08 Sahara unlimited, Steele blue Four door/4WD. I had a CJ nearly 20 years ago and have missed it ever since. With kids, and all of the traveling we do (my daughter plays travel soccer) I never thought I'd be able to enjoy this fraternity again, at least not until the kids were gone.
When the four door wranglers came out last year I thought, maybe that would work? They're not quite as pretty as the two doors and the kids will be a little cramped, but at least I could have a jeep again. It was time to get rid of the Tahoe and I wasn't impressed with the new 08 model so I went and took a test drive in the new Jeep and two days later, well I got it and I love it!
Took a litttle bit of getting used to (about 24 hours) not having the space and luxury, but now I wouldn't trade it for the world and I've only had it since Friday. The kids love it!
I just placed an order for a bikini top, and dust cover and deciding on which lift to get. WooHoo, let the fun begin!!
