Hey all, glad to have stumbled on this forum! Quick background... 25, Boston and finally back in a Jeep. In high school my parents picked me up a well loved Cherokee (which I loved)... well fast forward to last summer and the cash for clunkers. The first dealership I went to was my local jeep dealer only to be told that the only qualifying jeeps were the compass and patriot (no thanks). I ended up buying a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. While the Lancer was certainly a nice car, its a car... and a sports car. I just didn't like the feel of being 2 inches off the ground, or tuner heads asking me what kind of exhaust sound profile I want to throw on her.

Well, two weeks ago I traded in the 9 month old Lancer for a new 2010 Wrangler Sport. 33MPG to 17... love it!
