Buy my first Wrangler
Hello all, I have never owned Wrangler before , but I want to have one as a second vehicle, don't want to spend more then $16k . What I am seeing in the South Florida market are high mileage Wrangler JK (2007-2014) like 170kmiles and more . I am concerned that I am looking at are alot of mechanical issues, anything I should be looking at when I view these vehicles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to JKF. Good idea to have a budget, There are good Wranglers around in your price range with less miles than what you have seen. Yes with than mileage it will probably require significant ongoing repairs if the seller hasn't done so. You should expand the search out farther; Try FB Marketplace and Craiglist if you haven't yet..

Be sure to test drive it... hit a few bumps with it at highway speed... be sure it does not have death wobble...which can be hard to track down. Anything in the price range can be good or bad... so have a shop do a good check on it, do a carfax on it.
