Lurked for awhile and just registered. I don't own a JK now, but I am moving to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for a new job and think a JK would be perfect for day to day commuting and weekend "dune bashing". I understand there are a lot of 4X4 clubs over there in the Sandbox.

I have never owned a Jeep before, but I always wanted to and I appreciate the knowledge of the members of this board. I have already learned a lot.

They are my Aunt & Uncle and have lived in the town since the late 70's

They Lived on the big D when the kids were growing up.
After the kids grew- They sold the place and now just have a hanger on the air strip and live by the golf course.

I lived with them in St. George for a short spell in 79.

Diz,
I've been in St. George since 1998 and it has changed alot since then. If you haven't been here since'79 you would not recognize the place.

The S.W. Utah area is great for offroading as it is surrounded by BLM lands, I just chose to do it on a motorcycle these past years, but with my pending move to the Middle East, a JK makes since as an all-around great on/off-road vehicle, plus I've always wanted one.
