Default Ciao from OR

Poking around here. Was holding off on a new vehicle after selling my built LC FZJ80 and 3rd Gen 4Runner; but a deal I couldn't pass up came along, So here I am. 2010 JK 4dr. I don't have a lot of info on it but mildly built. Hardtop leaks like a sieve so that is the proiroty for at the moment.

Welcome to JK-FORUM. You might try removing and re installing the hardtop as the leaks could be by the top being installed incorrectly. Also you can pick up Rubicon rock sliders on CL cheap to replace those steps.

Thanks. I bought this truck from my boss and we have installed the hard top on and off many times over the years. I will try to reseat it again. From my general reading they can be finicky. Found that great PDF flow chart of tracking leaks article here.

How much abuse can those rubi sliders take? Im pretty used to a completely over armored 7k# 80 series (LC). With that said, my rock days are over, this one will be more for family fun in some remote areas, Doubt I will even lock it.

Looking at the White Knuckle Offroad sliders as I have some experience with them in the LC world.
