DYNAMO signing in!
Hey everyone,
I'm a British guy who's been living in the US for three years. The first vehicle I bought upon my arrival was a '98 Moss Green Sahara. It was my first introduction to the Jeep lifestyle and now I can never go back!
In November I sold the TJ and bought an '08 Jeep Green Sahara, which I absolutely love!
Why do I love Jeeps so much? Well, I'm also a huge Transformers fan, and the Jeep is basically a huge Transformer that I can change and customize whenever I want. Plus I was always a fan of the character Hound (http://www.unicron.us/tf1984/toypix/hound.htm) from the 80's TV show, so my Jeep is an homage to him (which explains the plates and Autobot symbols).
Here are some comparison pics of my TJ and JK :

As you can see, I haven't done much in the way of modifying it yet. I'm considering a suspension/wheel upgrade later in the year, but for now I'm still in the process of breaking 'er in, and enjoying it too. Summer's about to arrive here in LA so I've already installed the mirror-relocation brackets (which I've stripped and repainted Jeep Green to match the body) in preparation for taking the doors off.
So, that's the introduction over. Looking forward to getting to know you guys better on the boards.
Thanks for having me!
- Jamie.
