Finally - 1st time Jeep & Forum - Baton Rouge, LA
After years of looking and wanting (but not being able to afford), I finally bought my 1st Jeep!! Ever since the 4 door JK came out in '07, I have been wandering the dealerships trying to figure how I could get behind the wheel of one... Unfortunately it took a struggling economy for me to finally get the deal I needed.
I bought the slap bottom of the line '09 X with nothing but 4-wheel drive, which is exactly what I wanted! I have added a few small things so far (front tow hooks, hitch, grab handles, safari top, flex a trunk), with BIG plans in the near future. There are many questions to be answered which is where I have found the forum to be quite helpful. Thanks in advance for all the information I get through this site!
Well, I think I finally found a vehicle that I may actually keep for more than a couple years! It was well worth the wait and I know it's only going to better as I go along.
I will add some pictures soon.

You certainly will not find any better food ANYwhere else, so there are a number of restaraunts you can visit. Suprisingly, Downtown Baton Rouge has come alive in the last several years!! Not really sure what type of stuff you looking to get into, but if you let me know, I will definitely make some recommendations.

An LSU football game is always the 1st thing I would recommend, but you are a little early for Football Season.
