Finally back into a Wrangler! (almost) - Willamette Valley, OR
Hey, guys. I just joined the forum, but I've been poking around for a few months. In my younger days I had a mildly built 2004 Rocky Mountain TJ on 35's, but my second son came along and the wife and I decided it was time to let her go. We finally hit the point where we could add a new vehicle to the family, and we ordered a 2015 JKU Sport. It's my first brand new vehicle, and I can't wait to pick her up. I'm currently hanging out in the middle of the desert half a world away from home, but when I pick her up I will get some pictures up. Maybe some poser shots flexed out on a pinecone or something.
I plan on starting my build with MC Overline flares, 37" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's, and 4.88's. Then getting a Rock Jock 60 Rear and at least built D44 up front. Maybe another RJ 60. Also been thinking about the RK 2.5 Stock mod, then the adjustable control arms later if need be. The Jeep will be the wife's daily driver, and my rock crawling rig.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and get the first post out of the way! I'm always open to advice, sharing of knowledge, and (constructive) criticism. Not really here to be part of any bashing or **** talking, I just find that stuff pointless on an online forum. I don't know much about the JK's, but I'm more than willing to learn if someone is willing to teach.
That's all. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh yeah, also looking for a club around the Northern Willamette Valley area to maybe check out. If anyone is part of a good one, let me know. Family type stuff, not drunken hillbillies out boonie bashing. Thanks.

That's awesome, congrats on the new jeep!
I don't think you'll run into much bashing here, it happens every once in awhile but most people are very supportive of the community.
You sound like you've already got a better plan for your jeep than I do! I'm sure you'll find plenty of resources here for all that you're looking to do.
