My first Jeep was a ‘97 TJ that I bought around 2002. I was just out of the military and using my GI bill to go to Paramedic school so I didn’t have a ton of money to put towards Mods. I put 33” all-terrains on it, kept the bikini top, wind jammer and tonneau cover on and the doors off pretty much year round. I built my own locking tool box for the back. Around 2007 my number of kids became > my number of seatbelts and I had to sell it for something “more practical.” I have missed that Jeep every single day for the last 14 years. I have FINALLY made my way back into the Jeep world with a ‘17 JKU. She’s bone-stock at the moment but I’m researching and planning my mods. I can’t even verbalize how excited I am to be a Jeep owner again!
