Default Forum Intro

Hello . . . Hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far!!

New to the forum and reaching out to introduce myself. 24+ year Active Duty Marine currently living in Arlington, VA. Bought a 2018 2-door JK Willy's about a year ago that I picked it up as an extra vehicle . . . but loved it so much I got rid of a Jag F-Type and the Willy's has been my DD for about 9 months.

No major mods to this point, just the standard minor accessory adds and a custom rear storage enclosure. Finally ready to get a more aggressive stance on the Jeep. Thinking 2" - 2.5" lift with 33s right now. I'm not a big off-road wheeler . . . most concerned about maintaining / improving drive handling. Lots of research for me to do and look forward to learning and getting advice from folks on the forum!

If anyone has recommendations for some good shops in the Arlington VA area, I would appreciate the recs.

- HUK

I can't help with shop recommendations, but I can extend a warm welcome to our forum.

Welcome! use the search feature to look up lifts and reviews of different ones... some are softer and some can be gut busters... when you go to tires avoid E rating for your jeep... C or at the most D for a 2 door for good road manners. The searching is the fun part... there are great companies that make several lifts... some more for rock crawling, some more for mostly Daily driver stuff... take you time and research a lot of them! Welcome to the forum!
